Lavengro. In the heart of the Haute Vienne in the
Limousin region of France lies the small hamlet
of Le Bournazeau in the commune of Chateau
Chervix. It is here that The Lavengro offers you
the chance to experience the calm and tranquil
way of life that is rural Limousin. You can enjoy
an aperative in our bar where you can pick up a
little of the local dialect or patois, or enjoy a
glass of chilled wine on one of our terraces. In
the colder months you can pull up a chair and
enjoy a drink in front of our large open log fire
or join in our monthly pub quiz nights.
Lavengro is ideally located for walking and rambling and fishing and we can offer transportation to and from local sites along with packed lunches.
If you need a stopover on the route further South, we are conveniently located a short distance from the A20 motorway.
Lavengro is also a great base from which to carry out your house hunting, with hosts Chris and Maria always on hand with a myriad of useful tips , having already been through the process themselves. All our rooms are en suite with a choice of bath or shower, centrally heated, and with tea/coffee making facilities to ensure your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable. The "Grand Salon", situated on the ground floor, incorporates the Bridge bar, the restaurant and a comfortable lounge seating area. Here we serve traditional lunches throughout the week as well as holding regular events and functions. We have a full drinks licence and offer draught Amstel beer along with a large selection of bottled beers, aperatives, digestives and spirits.
